Agia Ermioni is a seaside village of the eastern island 11 kilometers south of Chios town.
Agia Ermioni is mildly hilly coast, three kilometers south of the Karfas bay (known for the extensive shallow sandy beach), from which is separated from the cape Punta. Nearest villages are Karfas, Megas Limionas and Kerameia (southwest), and Thymiana (3 km) northwest. The cape Punta is the nearest point of Chios island in the Asia Minor coast (6.5 km and 4.3 from the Turkish islet, Paspargos), and Karfas and Agia Ermioni settlements are both closest to Turkey.
To Marina Chios, Kardamyla port, also to Lagada, Daskalopetra and Saint Hermione fishing shelters, exist automatically power distribution boxes and water (pillars), which operate with prepaid cards worth 5 €, 10 € and 20 €.
