Nautical Information

Shelter: From N - SE winds. During winter the S wind blows as an SSW, which affects the harbour. Afterwards the wind turns to mistral (NW) followed by very strong gusts (“kapnistés”). Also during winter, the W wind turns at A. Doukáto and blows inside the bay as an SSW wind. The NW wind is much gentler during summer but still affects the harbour and care needs to be taken.

Mooring: Good holding. Make sure that your anchor catches. If you have any doubts, moor towards the point of “Pónti” the mistral (NW) wind.

Good LifeThis area has developed into a touristic resort. With the mistral (NW) wind that blows here, the bay is considered one of the best places for windsurfing and the place is full of surfers during summer.
