Shelter: All round in summer. Make sure that you anchor has caught well in the area where the “Taxis” are, as the meltemi (NE) may cause damage. The area where yachts moor is affected by the SE wind. Shelter along the opposite eastern coasts may be found with southerlies (SE - S), see chart. It is dangerous to moor in the Megálo Limáni with the winter NE winds

Mooring: Good holding. The Mikró Limáni is only for the locals. It is not allowed to stay at anchor outside the Megálo Limáni, as the area is used by the liners for manoeuvring.

Port facilities: There are marine equipment shops. Careening facilities for boats (wooden-plastic) up to 15m in length and 2m draught. All boat repairs can be completed as well as many engine, electrical and electronic repairs. There is a diver
