FOLEGANDROS is an island of the Cyclades, between Milos and Sikinos. It is located 15 miles east of Milos and 22 miles northwest from Santorini. Generally it is a mountainous and rocky island while its shores are more rugged and form many capes. The island is extremely exposed almost all year round in strong north winds. Characteristic feature of their intense is the slope of the trees of the island to the South.
