Sifnos is located in the Western Cyclades between Serifos, Kimolos and Paros. It is located about 80 nautical miles from Piraeus and has a permanent population of approximately 2000 inhabitants. It is crossed by four parallel mountain ranges while the soil consists of granite rocks, sandstone boulder clay or shale, limestone. Also has mineral wealth such as iron ore, copper, lead, manganese, magnesium, Galena.

Sifnos is famous for architecture of the settlements. The gleaming white homes with combinations of rectangular volumes that stand around the cobbled streets create an extremely interesting diversity. Sifnos is well-known for the large number of churches of up to 235. The impressive though is that almost every chearch on the eve of the holy patron are organizing a feast with the full funding from private funds. As you can see when you get there, you'll surely enjoy one of the most traditional festivals.

With great tradition in pottery and in cooking, as it is the birthplace of Nikos Teslementes a famous Greek cook, is a destination able to meet all your needs.
