    Ithaca is one of the Ionian Islands located south of Lefkada and North-East of Kefalonia. It has a population of around 3,000 inhabitants whose main occupation is fishery and tourism.  

    The island's name is known from the ancient times as it is mentioned in the Odyssey. It is an island that retains the traditional Ionian image which attracts many tourists.
