The island of Leros or otherwise of the goddess Artemis is located at the southeastern edge of the Aegean Sea in northern Greece and has a population of around 8.000 inhabitants.

The geographical terrain of the island is characterized by small hills and countless bays with the largest Gulf of Lakki is the largest natural harbour in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The island although small has many settlements: Lakki is the commercial center of the island, Panteli, a village of fishermen with small taverns and cafes, that has kept the traditional character of the Ag. Marina, built amphitheatrically, a picturesque, traditional settlement overlooking the entrance to a large Bay and natural harbour, Vromolithos with long beach, small hotels, rooms and taverns by the sea and many other picturesque villages.

It has vast green expanses and endless Lacy shores with small and secluded bays and coves and beaches with pebbles and some sand. Leros there are many sights worth a visit when you get there: The Lady's Castle, built in the eleventh century that dominates in the bare hilltop Apityki, at a height of 300 meters, the warship Museum in Merkia built within the tunnel, Folklore, Archaeological and ecclesiastical Museum, ancient monuments and archaeological sites and countless small and picturesque chapels scattered around the island.

Leros is also one of the best destinations for scuba diving in Greece after featuring a wonderful diving environment, with a rocky seabed of exceptional beauty with a rich ecosystem, full of caves, reefs and wrecks. Leros with the mild climate and the calm environment offers the traveller all the comforts because of tourist structures featuring first-class giving him the possibility of spending quality holidays.
